after microsoft student home and office has been installed how do you find the product key in the co
i lost the sleeve and box the disk came in and just put the CD in a generic case to protect it. If i put the product key in once shouldn't it still be in the computer somewhere

If you put the product key in when you installed Office, then under ordinary circumstances you shouldn't need to put it in again, but yes the Office product key is stored in the Windows registry and you can use one of the following free utilities to retrieve the product key used to install Office:
