Can I take a tote and purse and laptop on plane?
I was thinking of taking my purse a tote and my laptop but I read only two carryons are allowed. Can I just stick my purse down in my tote bag..that way I'll only have two carryons? The total inches of my tote (length + width + height) is 31 inches.

Yes, just put one inside the other, you'll be fine.

You'll need to consolidate.
You're allowed only 2 pieces in the cabin. So put your purse in your tote and carry with your laptop.
